Following their visit on November 24th, a delegation of five members from Macquarie University in Australia visited Sharif University of Technology. The delegation consisted of Dr. Paul Scheirer, Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Ren Yi, Director of Higher Degree Research Office and International Relations staffs. A few faculty members from different departments of Sharif along with Dr. Movaghar, Dean of the International Affairs, hosted the delegation in the International Affairs office. The meeting started with an introduction of Macquarie by Dr. Scheirer and was followed by an introduction of research potentials of Macquarie University by Dr. Yi.
After that, the participants focused on paving the way towards signing a memorandum of understanding. This would be the stepping stone for Joint degrees and cotutelle agreements.
Finalizing the details and other discussions were continued until the end of the meeting.
