President of the AlKarkh University for Science and Technology, along with a few of his deputies visited Sharif University of Technology on January 12th. The delegation was hosted in the President’s Office, by a few of the deans of different offices and faculty members.
The meeting was started with a brief introduction of the participants by Dr. Movaghar, dean of the International Affairs office, and was continued by an introduction of Sharif University of Technology. After that, Dr. Jahed, dean of the international students’ office presented his office’s activities and elaborated the details and requirements to enter Sharif University of Technology. Based on the technical needs of the AlKarkh University, two different collaboration methods were proposed. One was providing of equipment and facilities and the other one was exchange of students.
Open floor discussions were pursued over lunch in order to find the best and most appropriate procedure to start the collaborations. Finally the delegation visited Physics department, Institute for Nanoscience and Nano technology as well as Shaking Table Laboratory.
